Please forgive me on this one. Entirely my mistake.

Matt is speaking at 10:15, not 9:30am.

Please refer to the original schedule posted here for complete details:

https://newyork.wordcamp.org/schedule/

Unfortunately, as of writing this, Michael Hampton will not be able to make it to WordCamp NY. Due to unforseen circumstances, he simply cannot make it.

If news comes up about a replacement speaker, I will post an update here.

I deeply apologize.

Schedule update!

Matt Mullenweg is speaking at 9:30am 10:15am as the first speaker of the event.

Make sure to there early!

Breakfast will be start at 9:00am 9:45am, doors will be open around 9:15am

Thanks!

Just a heads up for everyone, I just finalized the breakfast order.

Since it’s an early day for everyone and a lot of people are coming in via the train, I decided it would be best to just cater breakfast.

So, that said, your $30 ticket will include:

Folks, I know some of you are going to want to walk up to the event and pay at the door, but YOU NEED A TICKET.

The event is already sold out, so if you didn’t get a ticket for this year, I have already started the planning for next year and you can make sure to sign up for that event.

If you want to ensure that you get a ticket for next year, sign up for the mailing list.

Again, no walk-ups will be accepted because we’re at the max of the venue. Apologies to those that wanted to try to walk-up to the event. I have to close it off for ticketed attendees only.

I finally nailed down the schedule for the event.

Here it is!

That’s right folks! We even went a little over the max!

152 tickets sold for the event! It’s going to be a great weekend coming up!

I’m still trying to finalize the schedule, but it’s pretty set in stone right now.

I will publish the schedule soon.

Thanks everyone!

So I put in the order for the tshirts. Around 100 confirmed sizes, but I’ll be ordering around 160 or 170 so there will be some extra for people to purchase — and so everyone gets one at least.

A huge thank you to Matt Thomas for providing the design details, you totally rock!

PS, Matt has been an invaluable asset to me in planning WordCamp NY.

I will be putting in the order for t-shirts tomorrow to get printed for the event.

I will be ordering a few extra, but if you want to ensure you get your size, you will need to register for WordCamp NY 2008 today!
